Kilim is inspired by antique Tudor rugs, flatweaves and tapestries—a new unveiling from the European rug collection.
On the Design:
This modern rug is from the earliest custom works by R&K Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal, newly released for the first time and never-before used. Subtle and elegant in essence, this rug features muted floral patterns in beige and cream white hues, with light pink accents in the finer details of the botanicals. Keen eyes for detail may admire a high-and-low texture and the skill it takes to execute these fine curves in the floral patterns on such a large scale—which admirers of the craft will note was the first introduction of such a textural element to these patterns. Teeming with life, luxury, and intricacy along with its soothing tones, this piece is well suited to an array of discerning projects.
