On the Design:

Tones of soft blush pink and gold underscore a floral medallion and corner-spandrel composition, enriched by notes of magenta and green. These hues sit gracefully against a softened beige field, lending the entire piece an air of subtle sophistication. This beautifully aged piece exemplifies the refined aesthetics and elegant scale that have come to define the best of 19th-century Indian weaving.
