Fine Kashan masterfully hand knotted in Kashmir during British India days. High quality wool and exquisite deep Indigo hues contrasted with browns, sages, turquoise and silvery natural dyes. Good condition for age with predominantly good pile save for a few low spots as shown. This rug exudes finesse and sophistication and has the charm of old Mughal rugs. Not seen often.
