This hand knotted wool antique traditional Indian area rug with a Classic Persian Design features an all-over Herati pattern of large-scale palmettes, curved sickle leaves, and opulent and opulent frondescence, all intertwined among thin arabesque vines dancing across the dark crimson field. A Shah Abbas border surrounds with acanthus leaves undulating from palmette to palmette in an elegant display. Sure to captivate the most discerning aesthete, this antique Persian style rug is the epitome of tradition and luxe Baroque style in one. Well-suited for a variety of interiors: Traditional, Old World, Baroque, Medieval, Regency, Venetian, Victorian, Hepplewhite, Tudor, Cottage, Neoclassical, Modern, and Contemporary.
