Chinoiserie Chic meets Modern Luxe in this hand knotted wool Chinese Art Deco style runner. The timeless style and lavish texture woven into this piece work together creating classic elegance, warmth and luxury. Imbued with saphire blue hues, the coveted open field features gentle waves of abrash running selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. It is enclosed with a thin border decorated with chrysanthemums and delicate leafy tendrils. The highly effective use of negative space from the open field ensures the genteel corner spandrels and border take center stage. Emulating quiet sophistication and a sense of serenity, this modern Chinese Art Deco style rug would be a refined, yet comfortable, addition to nearly any interior.
Rendered in variegated shades of blue, tan, rose, beige, navy blue, light pink, cerulean, brown and glaucous with other accent colors.
