The rug is one of a kind, hand-knotted with a refined workshop finish aimed at contemporary design rather than traditional ornament.
Visually, the rug reads as soft, atmospheric, and painterly. The design is fully allover and borderless, resembling a washed canvas rather than a formal pattern. A pale blue-gray ground is layered with diffuse abstract splashes and striations in muted rust, slate gray, straw yellow, and hints of teal.
