About the Item

The symbolic power of fire is captured through the designs of three kilim rugs. Bonfire portrays people gathered around the fire, embodying the warmth of shared moments. Together, these rugs speak about the solace of being together and the solitude found in losing oneself in thought by the fire. Bonfire was part of the performance Exhibition "The Theater of Things" the show transformed the gallery into a domestic stage — an ever-evolving space shaped by the creative voices of seven designers. Each night, one of them slept in the space. Each morning, a journalist, curator, or critic joined for coffee and conversation — exploring what it means to live among collectible pieces. Inspired by radical gestures like Gianni Pettena’s La Casa all’Elba and Joseph Beuys’ Coyote performance, the exhibition is both lived experience and open dialogue. Open edition. Standard production time is approximately 8–9 weeks once current stock is sold out. One piece available for immediate delivery. For projects involving multiple units, production time may vary.
