About the Item
An extremely finely knotted Agra carpet, woven with the best quality soft wools in India in the mid 80's, commissioned at the time by the Kennedy Carpets gallery of London. This represents the earliest Western enterprise in India aimed at reproducing faithfully the magic of antique Agra carpets, using the same original patterns in the same identical colours. The rug has aged beautifully to the point that it would take an expert eye in order to distinguish it from an original antique carpet in perfect condition. A true quality piece that would make the perfect complement to many of the most stylish interiors.
