This antique Indian Agra rug has a shaded sky-blue field with an overall design of ivory, buff-brown and caramel-brown pairs of serrated leaves linking pairs of palmettes flanked by vertical rows of palmettes and leafy floral vines, in an ivory border of golden-yellow stylized flowering plants alternating by mole-brown outlined plant motifs linked by scrolling floral vine between caramel-brown serrated leaf, flowerhead vine and shaded sky-blue meandering lozenge stripes, plain outer shaded sky-blue stripe.
