About the Item
This unusual Anatolian rustic, long pile carpet, shows a columnar, brushstroke pattern in shades of charcoal, light blue and teal, on the well-covered ecru ground. The brushstroke horizontals repeat three times vertically, but the pattern is in no way repetitive and feels roughly delineated throughout. Borderless. The pattern also jogs uniformly to the left and the appropriate charcoal column is slightly cut off. Again, no visual discomfort. Coarse weave. As new condition.
