Handwoven in cotton, it’s a modern take on antique and vintage Dhurrie flatweaves by one of the best partner looms in our craft, specifically led by a devoted collector and student of these Dhurries whose collaboration has allowed us to make the most meaningful contribution to the style.
On the Design:
This design enjoys a play of deep blue and green tones in the field exemplifying a simple, minimalist design that’s quintessential to many classics of this Dhurrie style. Keen eyes will further admire the subtle look of abrashed patina and striation within the field—an intricate and thoughtful revival of the classic look of Kilims and similar pieces brought to a more livable, modern quality.
