Kilim's latest addition to the Burano Collection, offering an unprecedented new method of capturing acclaimed periods such as this 17th-Century Oushak patterns—referred to among historians and collectors as a star Oushak design. Enjoying a remarkably soft Ghazni wool paired with our unique blend of special yarns from our collection, the juxtaposition of blue in the mirrored borders and field alike play beautifully off the rich red colorway, uplifting the even brighter hues of the many intricate geometric-floral motifs with a distinct European novelty interpreting gorgeous Oriental traditional elements; an achievement in scale and boldness considered one of the hallmarks of this collection—hand knotted originating from one of our most respected looms in India.
