On the Design:
This piece underscores abstract floral motifs in green and blue tones arranged symmetrically and is inspired from the many provenances known for repeating floral patterns in dense, deftly woven designs as this—a thoughtful and elegant new take on a traditional look. Keen eyes will note a high-and-low texture married to each pattern—an element of dimensionality that lends a gorgeous compliment to the sense of movement and depth. The block printing process is one of the oldest in textile design and has seen many adaptations.
