Kilim’s Burano collection, reputed for its pioneering method of capturing Classic patterns with especially European sensible interpretations of Oriental inspirations. Drawing inspiration from Classic antique Persian Hamadan rug patterns, this piece is a testament to the vitality achieved through one of our most regarded looms in India in the arresting quality of such a radiant, inviting blue colorway, lending dimensionality to the traditional tree of life and lotus palmette patterns as well as complementing the warm beige brown and red hues in the field and border alike. The subtle, soft texture and gentle sheen of these colors has never been seen capturing this unique look negotiating between Classic Eastern and Western design influences, offering versatile to discerning projects.
