This rug is a masterful textile tribute to the geometry of prayer and the rich palette of Caucasian provenance. It features the iconic mihrab arch, which opens to frame a field of astonishing visual density.
The entire field glows with a warm, pervasive mustard gold, acting as the canvas for an all-over, rhythmic scattering of geometric paisley motifs. These stylized, geometric forms, rendered in brick red, sky blue, and cream, are reminiscent of tribal talismans, lending the rug a formal yet intensely tribal character.
