On the Design:
This piece features large-scale paisleys in the many floral patterns within—a revered motif in many celebrated provenances, and especially in antique Caucasian Kuba rug designs like those that inspired this piece. A field of beige-brown and border of cream-white tones underscores all over floral patterns in blue, red, and yellow tones, among many colors at play, beautifully capturing the colorful nature of such pieces. Keen eyes for the tactile will further admire an especially soft, comfortable texture and beauty inherent to the wool that underscores this piece.
