On the Design:
Inspired by antique Kazak rugs in particular, which admirers of the craft may note from its particular design—a marriage of medallion and all over style with sharp rectangles and an execution among the celebrated beauties of this style. This rug features lively hues of sky and navy blue, red, and white. These warm and rich colors together capture the look of personal, craft-oriented beauty that distinguishes nomadic textiles and folk art alike. Black fringes on the borders mark our signature weft in this collection, and a rich new complement to this nomadic style.
