Hand-knotted in wool, this contemporary piece recaptures the Chinese Art Deco rug style of the 1920s. Its minimal design features a bamboo trees-inspired pattern, connecting its brilliant orange and green on a beige-brown and gold background. This is a sophisticated contribution to the Chinese Deco rug style, and a versatile rug with vast design applications. Its thick, durable body and architectural design further capture the look of a Nichols rug—nearly indistinguishable from the inspiration. This collection is a contribution to the style, and our years of studying the craft have allowed us to recreate nearly indistinguishable pieces from the antiques that inspired us. Our contributions further include even larger sizes than those of the Nichols and Fette period like this oversized choice, an even wider range of maximized colors, and an even finer detail for today’s high-end designers.
