On the Design:
Admirers of the craft may note a particular inspiration from Oriental rugs with a European sensibility in this piece—a play of elements known to some in our craft for yielding some of the most unique rugs in history. In this piece, a field of cream white tones and a border of light blue underscore floral patterns in warmer red, gold, and green.
