Handwoven in cotton, it’s a modern take on antique and vintage Dhurrie flatweaves by one of the best partner looms in our craft, specifically led by a devoted collector and student of these Dhurries whose collaboration has allowed us to make the most meaningful contribution to the style.
On the Design:
Light blue and bright white tones underscore a play of old-world geometric squares in the field and diamonds in the border—a rich play of color and pattern with a bold, yet comfortable look. Keen eyes will further admire the subtle look of abrashed patina and striation within the geometric patterns—an intricate and thoughtful revival of the classic look of Kilims and similar pieces brought to a more livable, modern quality. This is a collectible piece in a versatile size with vast applications underfoot and in wall-hanging projects.
