Hand knotted in wool originating from one of our most reputed looms in India, this contemporary Heriz style rug by Rug
Kilim draws inspiration from a venerated Classic Persian rug family, representing the latest additions to our Modern Classic inspirations. The subtle employ of the gold-brown hue creates a beautiful sense of movement and a rich autumnal complement to the more prevalent red and beige hues set against the green background, a more traditional colorway pallet with a hint of autumnal design appeal. Noteworthy motifs include the lancet leave, sometimes known as the mahal or fish floral pattern, as well as the palmette and vine scroll pattern in the central beige border lending a rich accent to the otherwise warm, inviting mood created in this play of intricacy and lush texture.
