Admirers of the craft may note a subtle resemblance to oriental geometric patterns characteristic of Sumerian designs of the ancient Mesopotamian weaving traditions. Gold and light brown tones underscore multiple horizontal bands of stylized motifs, with the upper portion featuring more complex geometric elements including angular medallions, reciprocal triangles, and abstracted symbolic forms arranged in a structured yet irregular format. The lower section transitions to simpler horizontal banding with linear patterns and small repeated elements. The textile features a significant patina with varied tonal qualities ranging from deeper amber to lighter golden hues throughout the surface.
