This 8x10 rug is a new addition to Rug
Kilim’s Homage Collection, and a nod to antique Persian rugs. Hand-knotted in wool, its elaborate pattern calls back to Herati patterns and recaptures their sensibility anew.
Further on the Design:
This particular runner favors a charcoal black field with gray notes that naturally uplifts the more forgiving beige-brown patterns. Connoisseurs will further admire a contemporary take on distressed texture, and its gorgeous play with this archaic design. This connotes our inventive take on Rustic Modern design in an easy-to-maintain, comfortable wash with vast applications. The result is an approachable nod to a time-honored classic, and it’s especially ideal as a low-pile option.
Keen eyes may further admire green and pink accents in the field and border patterns. These are, ultimately, a subdued, yet complementary element in the more prevalent colors.
