This modern 8x8 square rug is a bold new addition to the Homage Collection by Rug Kilim. Hand-knotted in wool and cotton, its design marries abstract geometric patterns in a positive-negative play of white and black. Further on the Design: One can’t help but admire the detail that achieves this rug’s look of dimensionality and superimposition for starters. Keen eyes will further pick up ivory and charcoal notes as they linger on such a modern sensibility and its sense of movement. The distressed texture further marks our easy-to-maintain, comfortable wash and an inventive Rustic Modern concept. Connoisseurs will note this is the first representation of such a graphic modern concept to this cozy shabby-chic idea. The result is a statement piece, yet still one with versatile size and vast applications alike. It’s as much a work of museum-like cubist art as a hand-knotted rug with a refreshing tactile allure.
