This piece is an exemplar of this bold new custom-capable line, recapturing an underrepresented, iconic period with an entirely new approach to large scale, drawing, refreshed colors and refined texture. Its design enjoys curving, almost abstract patterns in gold hues resting atop a beige field, with ice blue accents. Admirers of the craft and keen eyes may appreciate a subtle inspiration from birds at flight in the patterns; a highlight on the talent of some of the most iconic French Art Deco rug designs to draw on figural, even pictorial elements and reimagine them in such a subtle, yet evocative fashion.
