Hand-knotted in wool and cotton, this 9x12 rug by Rug
Kilim is a new addition to the French Art Deco rug collection—a contemporary ode to the 1920s style moderne, geometric patterns inspired by some of the most iconic period pieces of the movement.
On the Design:
This particular piece is inspired by Cubist Art Deco style rugs of the 1920s European sensibility. Its design enjoys defined geometric patterns with especially present blue, taupe, beige, gray, cream and green tones. Connoisseurs will admire a subtle refinement in the texture, detail, and adaptation of scale to this high-end quality. The result is immersive, and nearly indistinguishable from antique Art Deco rugs, but in an even more durable construction.
