This modern Art Deco rug boasts an inviting texture, richness of hues, and ultimate play of floral drawings in this French Art Deco style rug. Teeming with a modern European sensibility and the high-low textures which lends it a rare dimensionality, this piece is an exemplary depiction of a balance of symmetry and whimsy that led the Art Deco movement to an iconic status in the world of textiles. Most compelling is the piece's balance of formal structure and organic movement—where traditional Deco symmetry finds new expression through contemporary weaving innovation. This collection represents Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal’s goal to honor the many artists and weavers behind this movement, and contribute to the style in a bold new high-end rug for today’s interiors.
