This wool 2x3 rug is an exciting new addition to Rug Kilim’s Modern Collection—both a new custom-capable texture and a smart new approach to gradient rugs. On the Design: Admirers of the craft will note much of the ombre in this gift-size rug look comes from a play of pile and flatweave textures in a natural high-and-low texture forming this grid-like geometric pattern. In this piece, rich chocolate brown and black tones underscore a range of rust tones and peach orange hues in a fabulous sense of movement and purposeful, yet comfortable directionality—unique in each new example of this collection, where no two gradients are alike. The versatile size of this accent rug, too, offers vast interior design applications, from entryways, bathrooms, and other small and narrow spaces to wall-hanging projects and infinitely more.
