This hand knotted Classic rug joins the latest additions to the Homage collection by Rug
Kilim, an ambitious custom-capable encyclopedia of periods recapturing and reinventing an unprecedented range of international styles including Oriental patterns with fresh, European influences. Inspired from a variety of celebrated Classic rugs, including a vivid influence from Khotan Samarkand rug designs made evident in the intricate border patterns, the juxtaposition of the field geometry with that of the meandering border complements the play of rustic beige-brown and soothing blue for one of the most idyllic looks in this line, further complemented by the distressed aesthetic achieved by our comfortable wash for a look of culture and rustic charm. The notes of black offer a sense of depth and definition to the gentler transitional colorway, bringing out the sharpness of the Classic pattern in this 8 x 10 rug. Originating from one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in India.
