Hand-knotted in wool and silk, this 10x14 modern rug is inspired by one of the more mid-century modern French Deco styles of the 1950s. The abstract geometric patterned design features rich play of off-white, brown and black with some silver-gray accents.

The geometric patterns all over the field have been inspired by the mid-century modern French Deco styles. The lustrous quality of the silk lends beautifully to rich variation of colorways in the background and field alike. Many patterns like these were meant to be an impressionist look at floral designs, and the subtle nod to this element has a beautiful way of leading the eye—as does the sense of dimension and movement.
