On the Design:
This custom rug sample hosts a golden-beige ground against which slate blue linear elements create an abstract cartography of intersecting pathways. The design employs a deconstructed grid system where horizontal and vertical lines establish a framework that simultaneously upholds and subverts geometric design. The grid structure remains intentionally imperfect, with uneven spacing between lines and inconsistent line weights throughout, and irregular crosshatching with varied line weights creating deliberate geometric interruptions.
