On the Design:
Our textural collection enjoys an inventive take on plain rugs, with this particular design enjoying luminous, gorgeous tones of deep wine, crimson, and subtle black notes that give this large rug its dramatic, passionate beauty. The horizontal striations, created by the interplay of color and texture, evoke the sumptuous texture of velvet or the deep, complex color found at the heart of a perfect ruby, bringing an unmistakable warmth and depth to any space. Admirers of the craft will appreciate the subtle, but inventive approach to this striking, warm, and luxurious piece with a comfortable presence and tone-on-tone striae—a movement our Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal likes to refer to as a “patternless take on pattern” in its powerful, organic sense of movement.
