On the Design:
This rug is a masterful study in bold graphic symbolism and pure texture, transforming the floor plane into a clean, sun-drenched canvas. Crafted from premium hand-knotted wool, the design features a flat, dense texture that grounds its powerful geometric layout, directly inspired by the raw, symbolic motifs of Moroccan Berber Rugs.
The field is dominated by a crisp, uniform expanse of creamy natural ivory and light beige. Across this pale background, an oversized diamond lattice is powerfully traced in a high-contrast camel brown and warm gold. Within the large diamonds, small, intricate abstract symbols—resembling stylized figures, writing, and tribal motifs—are subtly scattered, creating a dialogue between scale and detail.
