Kilim’s Classic collection and represents a new line inspired by vintage and antique Oushak rugs.
On the Design:
This custom rug design is a modern interpretation of “ushak” design, sometimes spelled “Oushak” in our craft. This piece hosts a creamy beige field underscoring palmette in an all over floral-pattern—enjoying rust tone orange, charcoal black and gold hues. The colors make for a refreshing new contribution and lend an almost transitional beauty to these traditional floral patterns. It’s both an elegant choice for the modern space and a thoughtful contribution to one of the most regal provenances in handmade Oriental rugs.
