Kilim. Hand-knotted in silk, it enjoys taupe and rust undertones, bright blue and gold accents, tribal motifs and floral patterns.
On the Design:
This new line is made with a new yarn Josh Nazmiyal is introducing, which has a notable weight and sheen to it in colors one rarely sees in this style. The weaving technique completes the old-world look of the pattern with high quality construction. The design is complementary to the rustic, old-world charm and transitional whimsy of Oushak rugs that distinguishes them from other, more traditional Oriental rug provenances.
