Connoisseurs may admire our high quality yarn that lends a subtle striae with more of a sense of movement and depth—a subtle nod to Rollakan techniques in a modern fashion. The choice of colors, too, explores their retro feel in a more refreshing quality. This particular rug features beige-brown and ice blue geometric patterns and uses striae in this construction—creates more of a sense of movement within the geometry, and it still sits comfortably and has the inviting sense of repetition that really speaks to the intentions of Swedish minimalism and the hygge aesthetic.
It’s a thoughtful use of distinct, yet complementary hues that lends mid-century chic a fabulous new look and feel. The symmetric geometric pattern marrying a chic blue and beige-brown palette lends a visually captivating sense of movement progressing elegantly with an abrashed look—the latter element born of our undyed, natural yarns sitting beautifully underfoot.
