On the Design
One fundamental idea that our Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal has long taught to his colleagues and teammates is that the best handmade modern rugs are made after one masters the classics. One such masterpiece is this featured modern rug inspired by the antique Persian Sultanabad rugs which are known for their most regal sensibility. Connoisseurs may admire this piece with a gold field adorned by an all over repeat of graceful, ornate floral patterns in orange and green hues. These and the many other intricate, personal details are an ode to a historic style of craft—given new life in this thoughtful and gracious approach.
