Kilim’s Scandinavian rug collection—a new line of flatweaves, made with a luxurious blend of handwoven wool and exotic yarns inspired by Alpaca.
On the Design:
This particular kilim enjoys red, pink, beige
cream colorways for an elegant presence. It’s a smart balance of new and chic that brings mid-century geometric patterns a fabulous new look and feel. Admirers of the craft and keen eyes will further appreciate this as an especially soft new flatweave, with a particularly smooth texture inherent to the exotic yarns—drawing on the look and feel of Alpaca rugs, as nuanced and alluring to the touch as the warm, creamy colors are to the eye.
Our flat weave further enjoys a thick, more durable body than any flat weave in high-end rugs. It’s a hallmark of our Kilim design, and another contemporary contribution to the Scandinavian aesthetic that sits comfortably anywhere.
