Kilim’s “Nu” texture in their Scandinavian rug collection—an exciting new texture in a contemporary reimagining of Swedish minimalism and vintage rugs and textiles of rollakan and rya weaving traditions.
On the design:
Our “Nu” flat weave enjoys a boucle-like texture of blended yarns, and a look both impressionistic and comfortable. Keen eyes will admire the cool look of striae and subtle color variation, and the sense of movement they create. This Kilim exemplifies that principle in beige and cream tones underscoring rows of geometric patterns, inspired by the Swedish minimalist style. Our modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. It offers a particularly soft, alluring beauty, so inviting to the touch as it is to walk over.
