The entire field is a smoky indigo blue stage for repeating, highly stylized quadrupeds—figures of movement and endurance rendered in bold brick red.
The composition adheres to the disciplined geometric framework characteristic of Shirvan weaving, particularly visible in the striking series of guard borders.
