On the Design:
Hand-knotted in a blend of wool and silk, this rug is a luxurious new way to look at a classic style. Often called Dragon rugs, these pieces feature serrated, long geometric patterns around the medallions in the field resembling the bodies of dragons.
Beige-brown tones underscore these primitivist geometric patterns in the all over style, with some notes of taupe and antique brass that play beautifully with the earth tones and overall richness of the colorway.
It’s a fresh new take on traditional rug designs that captures most of them with a new, modern element and sense of dimension.
