Made with hand-knotted wool, this rug reflects a new take on the theme of this collection—particularly a vegetable dye like those used in antique or vintage rugs that gives these a whole new kind of life. Though polychromatic in its beauty, there’s a notable range of grisailles undertones, midnight blues and indigo hues that give this piece its particular richness and moody, yet simple and comfortable beauty. It’s a subtle, intricate play of stripes and striae that yields the most modern, yet livable look in plain rugs today.
