Made with hand-knotted wool, this custom rug sample is an exciting new addition to Rug
Kilim’s Classic Collection and is inspired by the most iconic tribal rug styles in history.
On the Design:
Particularly inspired by antique nomadic pieces, this rug features primitivist old-world geometric patterns in lively hues of orange and blue atop a cream field. These vibrant colors together capture the look of personal, craft-oriented beauty that distinguishes nomadic textiles and folk art alike. Black fringes on the borders mark our signature weft in this collection, and a rich new complement to this nomadic style. It’s an intentional contribution to a classic for a more contemporary level of comfort, and one of the many beauties that makes this collection a sophisticated, smart new language in design.
