This 12x14 vintage Dhurrie rug is an exciting new curation from Rug
Kilim’s latest acquisition of rare and exemplary mid-century flatweaves of the same style. Handwoven in cotton, it originates from India circa 1950-1960.
On the Design:
Enclosed within a rich gold border, this vintage flatweave features a delicious teal blue field with small geometric patterns in beige and gold tones. Keen eyes will further admire the subtle look of abrashed patina and striation within the field—an intricate and thoughtful revival of the classic look of Kilims and similar pieces brought to a more livable, modern quality.
