71912 vintage Indian Persian style rug with Traditional design. This hand knotted wool vintage Persian Style rug features an all-over small-scale mir boteh pattern spread across an abrashed bottle green field. The widely used boteh motif is thought to symbolize life with its resemblance to a number of natural forms, including leaves, bushes, pinecones, sprouts and flames. A Classic Shekeri main border, composed of scrolling boteh vines, frames the composition, along with delicate floral guard borders and dotted listels. This vintage Indian accent rug would be the perfect accent to a traditional or modern style interior wanting a lively floor covering with a formal flair. Rendered in variegated shades of bottle green, forest green, emerald, pine, moss, lavender, lilac, purple, mauve, beige, cream, vanilla, sand, greige, and light gray.
