Beautiful, high quality rug in 100% New Zealand wool and pure silk, handknotted by our skilled Indian artisans.
The rug 'Embrace', designed by Atelier Barberini
Gunnell, is made of over 150,000 knots/sqm.
The abstract pattern is kept in white silk, while the background is in white New Zealand wool.
For a better distinction of the pattern, the pile height between silk and wool is slightly different giving it a three-dimensional design.
The original rug was designed for Villa Embrace located in St. Barth and defined by Forbes magazine as one of the most luxurious villas in the Caribbean.
Dimensions: W 250 x L 300 cm.
Colors and dimensions are customizable.
Leadtime: 4-5 months depending on the size.

Gunnell are regularly shown at international art fairs, such as PAD London, PAD Genève, PAD Monaco, Salon Art and Design New York, Art Miami.

In Nepal and India, places where carpet culture has resided for centuries, our expert craftsmen meticulously weave our creations.
