In keeping with the tradition of Taznakht rugs, this vintage Moroccan kilim features a raised design, showcasing a diamond trellis crafted with latch hooks. Within each diamond, a woven story of symbolic motifs unfolds, woven with meticulous care. The abrashed red backdrop, expertly flatwoven, serves as the canvas for an array of protection motifs, each bearing a raised design. Among them are Burdocks, Hamsa motifs, cross shapes, fused triangles, and secondary protection symbols, each laden with cultural significance and meaning.
