Handwoven in wool, a vintage 5x8 Zayane Moroccan Kilim - believed to originate from the Middle Atlas mountain range in Morocco circa 1940-1950.
On the Design:
Named for the same tribe, the piece reflects its deep attachment to the tribal weaving tradition. This flatweave further enjoys primitivist Berber style with polychromatic geometric patterns. Keen eyes will note a subtle play of accents for a delicious pop of color.
Condition:
