This exceptional contemporary carpet represents perfectly the direction I have been aiming at during the last few years, that is to design a collection of rugs which would embody the interesting textures of vintage Moroccan weavings together with the geometric regimented patterns originating from Scandinavian design. Indeed there are many meeting points between Stockholm and Marrakesh and this rug is a glorious example of it. The result is the ideal backdrop for many of our most stylish contemporary interiors.
