This addition to Rug
Kilim’s extensive contemporary and modern rug collection recaptures the inspiration of a Classic Moroccan Berber rug in new large-scale and textural high-low production. The thick braiding at the playful fringes, borders and mid-field stripe complements the positive-negative play of black and white with meticulous craftsmanship, hand knotted in wool originating from one of our most widely regarded looms in Morocco. The gray-silver colorway created by the trick of white and black in such Fine proximity also complements the very quiet nature of the Fine black geometry, ultimately creating a very reserved, gentle piece for contemporary and modern projects seeking the traditional Moroccan aesthetic in this appealing large size.
